About Yamaha and YMEC

Yamaha Music Education Centre (YMEC) is a division of Yamaha Music Australia.

The first Australian Yamaha Music School was established in Melbourne in 1970. There are now various schools across Australia, some of which are operated directly by Yamaha Music Australia and others operating under licence.
